How long are sessions? 
The initial session, an intake, is 60 minutes. Ongoing individual sessions are 45 minutes. A hypnosis session can be 45-60 minutes depending on the issue. 

How frequent are the sessions? 
At minimum, patients benefit from once per week therapy. Some may feel the need to have more frequent sessions. For targeted hypnosis issues, patients can be seen on a less frequent basis, especially if they have a primary therapist and only need to work with Dr. Simpao for a specific issue. 

How long will I be in therapy? 
Every patient has a unique set of needs. Therapy is an individual, reflective process so patients can be in therapy for as long as they wish. 

What is the cancellation/reschedule policy? 
A 48 hour cancellation notice for all appointments is required. You will be charged the full fee for sessions canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice. With advanced notice, Dr. Simpao can reschedule sessions within the same week. 

Can therapy be done online or in person?
Both! Dr. Simpao has office hours for those who would like to come in-person and can conduct telehealth, as well.  

How long is an asylum evaluation?
Typically, two hours plus time to complete questionnaires are required for an asylum evaluation. If you need a translator, you can provide your own or Dr. Simpao can hire one for an additional $100. It takes about 1-2 weeks to receive the report. This evaluation can be completed in person or online. 

How long is an N-648 evaluation?
An N-648 evaluation can be completed within 2 hours in the office. About one hour is needed for the evaluation and an additional hour is needed for Dr. Simpao to complete the paperwork. This evaluation has to be completed in the office.
